Re: New Car Programme on TV Soon

What does make me wonder if the owner of the Teala was showing people and say it did hit another car I wonder who would be in the wrong because there was no driver . I have read that in London they will have driverless Cabs by 2021 . I thought you need eyes up your bum with the people and bikes it’...

Re: New Car Programme on TV Soon

But if it all goes Pete Tong  The Tesla will end up stuffed in the railings...or worse. I prefer to have control of the car too. Although self parking does make a good show, at the end of the day it's just an expensive gimmick. Andrew. :agree: Call me old fashioned, but anyone with a driving l...

I bet he goes for the Stag o know it will blow his hat off . ( I am so bad ) It was obvious he was going to choose that Golf, he was amazed to see the self-parking in operation... Talking about self-parking, how's this for being flash? hYIHIS2KZnk Andrew. Has anyone picked a Elo car since the first...

Re: Steel Wheels

I wish you were a bit nearer Andy, I'd grab them off you in a flash to put them on my 3.0S while it's being worked on. The tyres on the current alloys are so knackered that they go flat 2 days after blowing up. I didn't want to get the rims re-furbished until the car is nearly finished. Ho Hum. I'v...

Steel Wheels

I have 4 x 14" wheels with tyres, taken from a MK4 Escort but will fit other models. I had them on my Sierra last winter when garaged. Wheels good for age **No Trims or Wheel Nuts Included** Tyres hold air but are old with some cracks, so I would only recommend them for moving a car around priv...

Re: New Car Programme on TV Soon

I am sure I did see Paddy do a classic car programme a few years ago and I did enjoy that . Was that Stars and Their Cars on Travel channel? I must remember never to have a cup of tea at your house. Especially while Top Gear is on....... Andrew. I watched the programme, but can't remember th...

Re: Fuel gauge now working

Assume it's the windings on the sender that are damaged in that area....Just going to keep it above 1/4 tank to be safe. Sorry to hear you have an issue with your sender Andy. When I had mine repaired the first time, my electrician mate soldered a broken winding & I had exactly that result. Rea...

Re: Fuel gauge now working

My gauge appears to sometimes fall off the scale (as if ignition is off) or work when it wants to, when it gets to around 1/4 tank. As I knew I would have it running when doing a few small jobs last week, I took some petrol cans to the garage and got 10 litres of petrol and put it in, and it's now r...

Yep, Paul you will see three slots you can clamp the bar into before sliding the lock bar into place. I clamp mine into the tightest slot.

Ah yes, thanks Nick. Like yourself, I have only ever used it on the closest lock.

Tightest slot on the Capri, but used the middle slot on the Sierra
