Re: mot extensions

I've just realised that the OP has actually taxed their car. They way I understood the situation, that shouldn't be able to happen as the MOT expiry date of October is well before the March 31st start date for MOT extensions. I'm pretty sure that they still won't be able to get an MOT though as tes...

Re: mot extensions

You don't need tax to drive to and from a pre booked MOT test, so long as you go straight there and home immediately afterwards. That's definitely true for having an expired MOT, but the way I understand it, it's a grey area as far as tax is concerned. I've never found anything official online stat...

You don't need tax to drive to and from a pre booked MOT test, so long as you go straight there and home immediately afterwards. Thankfully it also covers the journeys to and from a place where remedial work is being carried out. This could include; another garage of your choice, a tyre or exhaust ...

It's been like this for quite a while now! You only have 15 minutes or so to edit, then you can only delete your comment providing no one else has commented. Oh right, whys that? or is that just phpBB standard? Some people were going back editing their comments after other members had replied, maki...

Re: CCI National Day 2020

Some local organisers have cancelled July already which may well be a bit early imo. It's the same in this part of the world too. Perhaps if the organisers cancel early they just forfeit a deposit for the ground rental, whereas if they chance leaving it until later and still have to cancel they mig...

Re: CCI National Day 2020

The advert on the back page of the club magazine says that there might be a "possible cancellation". I suggest that a cancellation is, sadly, highly likely. That's a shame as it is a great event to get together with like-minded Capri folk. Andrew. I don't think there will be any car shows/events be...

Re: I'm back......

Looking good! I expect you're itching to get in and drive. Andrew. Hi Andrew, Even more since I got it out yesterday :) We live in a close with a turning circle 30 yards away, but without tax it's not worth the risk as tempting as it was! Bit of a bugger to start from cold yesterday, hasn't ran for...

Looking good Andy, even made the sun come out. Nice long drive you've got there. Hope you've settled in. Thanks Rob, Not the best pic, but it was so bright I could see hardly anything on the phone screen :) Yes it's a long drive although quite narrow but better than nothing. Settling in ok, the Mrs...
