Re: Kent cam

So go for the fr33 and get a good taste of excess without ..........does your wife/girlfriend have to be able to drive this rocket? 😁. One of the main things I look at when comparing cams is the valve lift , basically the more you move the valves the more it cost to keep them under control. Its all ...

Re: Kent cam

Years ago I had a xflow with a similar looking cam and with 4 grand on board it would lay rubber in 3rd gear without popping the clutch , fuck it could go , blew away heaps of "faster" cars ,it was a lot of fun but I very soon tired of voracious fuel consumption and having to do 50kmh morning traffi...

Re: Starter motor strip down and refurb

Well , thats not to say it cant be done. Whats actually wrong with the one you have ? πŸ€”
You have nothing to lose by trying to disassemble if your buying a new one anyway, so if you wind up wreaking it your no worse off.

I have seen peep...

Re: Capri mk3 with sbc which headers

Your into make it yourself territory now . Have you had the engine in the engine bay ? , also depends a bit on how much you can change stuff around to fit it in and still be legal . Pretty much anything to do with chassis, steering, suspension or brakes changed here in NZ requires an engineers inspe...

Yeah Wayne , you gotta be thinking "can of worms" if you dont want nasty surprizes . Re: Doesn't everyone love a bargain !!!

Amazon sellers do baffle me with the postage costs, can only assume that they buy a pre paid lot cheaper or/and use cheaper couriers than royal mail. I buy a bit of stuff from China and I,m borderline suspicious as to what they are up to , I mean ,I bought 50 life size worms ( hey ! at least they a...

Re: Window channel felt

That felt is called a Bailey channel . I just took the glass right out to do mine , but I had become a bit of an expert at that πŸ™„ ,I dont think you have to remove it to do the job but it might be easier. Make sure the new channel is the correct length, my 2 channels were delivered in one piece so be...
