x2 Genuine ford front valance inc. under headlight strip

Just as the title and photos. I've become ever so lucky to be in the presence of not just one but two of these daft rare parts. Story is: Up at my parts yard picking over a new steering rack. Got chatting with the dude and turns out everything is being sold or scrapped. (soon I'll post photos of the...

Re: Auto rear axle to manual car a straight swap?

Aren't the axles the same on all capris unless one is the English and the other is the atlas.
atlas has bolts on the back plate facing the rear of the car English have bolts on the front facing towards the nose of the car.

Re: Spark plug condition

That looks slightly lean and running hot to me. Optimal is a nice pink with carbon deposits on the ring.

Unless they're nearly new plugs which haven't had much time to colour yet.

Re: Weber 34 ICH emissions high

Obviously for `retard` he meant `advance`. Although 14` does seem a little premature, most recommend 8` or so? you got me! That's what I get for trying to type and enjoy festivities in a glass at the same time! I'm sure I got mine ticking at 14 deg but the neon timing light is very pish vs the xeno...
