Hi Andrew!
Looking at it this morning and there is allot of swing on the mounts, I had a look on eBay and they have some poly bushes or rubber ones ? Have you ever used the poly ones or know if they are any good?
Thanks for getting back to me
Toby

Tame my sportex (rear section hitting tyre)
I upgraded to the sportex 2" as many of you know, however I have had non stop issues and one being that the rear section swings into the tyre and rubs! I have tried tighting it and changed the angle on the bracket but it just keeps swinging out :( Any advise would be great as I'm about to blow ...

Re: Sportex Exhaust
Hi Toby, Nice one should fit together fine. At least with the Manifolds you can now upgrade the Cam at a future date.....? Although they can be more difficult to drive around town with a bigger Cam! Be warned...... We await pics of your 2" Tip :xd: Andy Hi Andy, Someone approached me with a fu...

Sportex Exhaust
At the risk of getting raped on here again   , id just like to ask I would like a sportext exhaust manifold to help the flow of my (well you guessed it) exhaust gasses, BUT i don't want a stupid chav like extremely loud one, is it possible to fit/or anyone know of someone who makes a manif...

Re: Single carbs to twin
In short you need to speed up the gas flow for sidedrafts (as Bug and others say - twin carbs usually come last on the mod list) - BUT I'd say a four branch and sports exhaust system at the least - then select some modest sized chokes and suitable trumpets for the carbs and get them set up - there ...

Re: Single carbs to twin
Thanks Andrew haha! So what you're saying Bug is, a sported exhaust manifold would be a decent purchase, I don't like the sound of loud exhaust I like the sound of an induction. I can't stand a car so loud you can't talk when you're around it! I know a more free flowing exhaust would mean better per...

Re: decent horn for Laser
But glad to hear you likes my twin air horns! But to say I didn't even know they were on the car when I brought it is the truth! They sounds great and I always give it a toot at shows and if I see people check the car out! Always makes them smile! Hi Toby. Nice one fella. Thanks for your reply mate...

Re: Single carbs to twin
I know people keep saying hEAd and CAM but i don't want to do HEAd and CAM, I want to fit twin carbs on my car, for the noise not for the power, i am not trying to crash my car into a hedge, nor drag race down the street and leave the chavs in the dust (as fun as that sounds). I just wanted some hel...

Re: Single carbs to twin
Thanks Mc Tool for a bit of input, had me pick my hopes up a bit. The capri isn't really a "bad ass drift race car" the idea of twins was to make it sound a bit nicer, and get a small increase in power, and i always thought i could change the exhaust at a later date for a sported exhaust! ...

Re: Single carbs to twin
Ah okay!! Right that makes more sense like I said pretty new to the whole carb and tuning point! I new a new exhaust and can could have been an option. But like you say with the vacuum and also having to fit manual chokes, I can see how you mean it won't be worth the hassle! Maybe I'll have a think ...
