Re: Sparks out of engine bay

What were Ron and Russell Mael doing in your engine bay in the first place?

Maybe not big enough for the both of them?

I'm glad they got out safely though :D

Re: Wanted 2.8i parts

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone is looking to sell the following parts: 2.8i top water housing Hi, The top water housing is quite hard to get hold of now, as you probably know, they are susceptible to corrosion and cracking. Are you aware that CCI have commissioned a limited run of repro items? T...

This time limit for editing appears to have been revoked now. I am now able to edit any of my previous posts, should I wish to do so.

Re: Who Is This Actress?

There are loads more actresses that starred in "Kate" listed on IMDB.

The lady in the photo looks a little bit like Hannah Gordon, but it may not be her.

Re: Ford Fiesta - The End

Andrew, are you saying you are glad to see the 'back of the Fiesta' lol I think we should celebrate the Fiesta for the great car it once was! TBH, Ford dropping the Fiesta has absolutely zero impact on my life, so I'm not getting worked up about it either way. If I was going to buy one, I'd prefer ...

Re: Capri Club Magazine Late?

Interestingly, the latest club magazine was posted in a white envelope. I assume the reason for this is for enhanced privacy. However, the front of the envelope has the return address for the Capri Club printed on it, so if privacy is the reason that has driven the change, the idea was rather ill-co...

The two fixings on the nearside of the bonnet. Obviously the over two are located in the same position on the other side.

Re: Silly little front valance woes

Hi, That piece is held on by four little nuts that are easily accessible when the bonnet is open. You can buy a new reproduction moulding, but it will be cheaper to source a secondhand item from a seller like Caprigear etc. https://www.capriclub.co.uk/Bonnet_Moulding--product--522.html The fixings c...

Evans and Sons in Haverfordwest do a complete Atlas axle rebuild service. I have heard that he's a really friendly chap. It could be worth calling for a chat and getting some advice, even if it's not practical for you to send your axle there. https://www.evansandsonrallyspares.co.uk/what-we-offer An...

Also my 3 litre has a none LSD axle. I believe that somebody does a LSD conversion for these, is this correct? Hi Mark, I'll say from the start that I know nothing about what's involved in an LSD upgrade, but Burton sell Quaife LSD diff internals for the Atlas. I imagine any axle specialist should ...

My preference would be a mint unrestored car. However, that is getting more unlikely as our cars get older. Personally, I would prefer a mint restored car over one in tatty unrestored car. Still, we're all different and we all like different things.

Especially if they have been removed fairly recently. On the subject of bearings... It's been said many times before but it's worth reiterating. ...
