Roll on summer ..........

Yes, same here. We've had lots of cold nights over the last week so the gritters have been out to play. Plus it didn't stop raining yesterday and today doesn't look much better......

Why bother if yours is working fine?
The part alone is £45 at Tickover, and that money would buy a lot of tea towels......

Re: Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars Series 2

They were very clean and possibly restored....If so I would have been interested in seeing that too. I would be amazed if they hadn't bee re-upholstered, as they were in superb condition. I've never heard of the guy they bought the original set of seats (the infamous headrest set... :D ) from thoug...

I enjoyed this episode and thought the Capri looked great.
Can't understand why the lad sold it in the first place and kept that Vauxhall though..... :D

Could make pleading innocent a little more tricky if it was ever necessary It might be more believable to plead insanity......  Nick, the sump looks amazing, it will almost be a shame to put it on the car! Now, how will you clean the oil so it doesn't get the inside of the sump messy...

They aren't going to be manufactured indefinitely though are they? Once demand dwindles to nothing, no supplier is going to want to commit to having a batch made....

Re: 1000 mile laser

Yes check the blokes feedback as the last person who bid on the car says it’s more like a million miles . Good call, Jason. The person you mention bid £5300 for it.... But look at how deceptive the photos are on the original listing. They don't show the O/S/R wheel arch at all, or much of the...

Re: 1000 mile laser

If the mileage is genuine, and like most of us I have my doubts, in this case I don't see the low mileage as a selling point. The overall condition of the car makes the benefit of low mileage irrelevant. Whether this car has 1000 miles or 101,000 the whole car is still going to need restoring and ov...

Re: What colour paint

Hi,
Ian (mellow yellow) sells the stickers and they are great quality. I think he's mainly on Capri World (Facebook) these days.
I think the best person to ask about the colour of the rocker covers is Martin at Caprigear. I'm sure he'd know.

Hi Andrew Is the bristol meet backon now? Hi Mark, Yes and no. The meets are still organised, but they aren't allowed to hold them in Queen Square. They move the meets to various locations around the Bristol area. There is one due to be held at Queen Square later this year (apparently one per year ...

Hi Rob, Great photos as always, thanks for uploading them. 8-) The Capri looks amazing, as does that 240Z and Corey's BRZ too! You must have booked early as the spaces were quite limited and I believe were taken quite soon after the location was announced. What a brilliant way to lift the winter blu...

I can't figure out how to put photos on here Hi, I really think it would help to sell the car if you had lots of very good quality photos. Here's how to post them to the forum, (info supplied by Paul): This assumes you have a pic on your computer (for example on your desktop) already - 1. Go to htt...
