Where's film 7 and why is there a film 4.9? :headscratch:

Great work Major, that'll keep people puzzling for a bit!

Re: Misfiring on 5 and 2

As you say that you've replaced the distributor, have you set up the timing as described in the Haynes manual? You've swapped out almost everything in the ignition system and still the fault remains, about the only thing you haven't swapped with a good known unit is the amplifier module. Could the c...

Re: Capri Assembly Line

I've worked with BB a lot over the years. Great bloke and we alway get on to old cars at some point (mainly down to me). He's admired my Capri before and i've driven him around in my old Escort mk3. The only photo I can find is this terrible one haha I did have one of us sat on it at a different fe...

Thanks for the link. I did find that page, but non-group members cannot access it. I thought maybe Tony had an actual website, but it appears not.

pbar wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2024 9:15 pm Typically, on ebay these Professionalmania releases seem much more expensive than direct from the seller.
Do you have a link where an order can be placed?
I can't find the Professionalmania website anywhere.

Re: New Professionals Model

Unfortunately my dealer, who I had this on order with, has ceased trading. So I'm currently looking elsewhere, several places seem to have a pre-order option in the UK, but most are quite baffling and vague as to when it will be available. Oh, sorry to hear that. It's always a pity to lose a local ...

Thanks for the heads up.
I have the single car. Is the twin pack a limited edition too?

Re: New Professionals Model

I was a little worried that the quality and detailing might be poor on Model Car Group's models as they are significantly cheaper than Minichamps or Norev 1/18 scale models. I bought an RS2600, just to see what they were like. I needn't have worried as they look to be fine, and are good value for mo...

Re: New Professionals Model

pbar wrote: Thu Mar 21, 2024 10:08 am There's been an update for this, now due to be released in April, in the UK at least, about time!
Has your dealer received their stock of these yet?
A website I looked at says they are now due for release in August. However, some European based websites are listing them as in stock.

Re: Party Time!

Watching the Birdie Song made me wonder which recording artist was the first to wear disguises on stage?
Daft Punk and Deadmau5 probably think they are cutting edge by wearing masks, but The Tweets were doing it over 40 years ago!

You know, any event you have to go to, wedding, party, BBQ, works do, and so on, then you're almost guaranteed a certain list of songs, and these two would be on it! You certainly couldn't go anywhere in the 80's without hearing these. The Birdie Song especially brings back memories of being reluct...
