Hi,
Try Martin at Caprigear. I expect he'll have hundreds of them.

Re: FORD CAPRI MK3 FRONT VALANCE

Anybody wishing to buy one could be waiting for quite a while for another to come along.
I would expect that the seller could be open to sensible offers.

Re: Most Expensive Capri ?

A mate has a near concours Fiesta Supersport but he does drive it to shows if dry, and pretty much spends the first hour or more cleaning and putting mirrors so you can see the underside. On the odd occasion if has got wet he will have the wheels off when he gets home and clean the inner arches etc...

Re: Most Expensive Capri ?

I know some people get excited about better-than-factory restorations and all that (and it is impressive) but its not something I really get, like trailer-ing cars to shows just for everyone to have a look at, then take it home after. This is being sold as an artefact to look at, and for someone to...

Not sure, although there can't be that many green ones in existence so the chances must be good.

Re: Most Expensive Capri ?

what is the difference between a collector and a horder? To me a collector will have things on display and in good condition, a horder will have a pile of stuff in the corner covered in dust and crap and no idea what is at the back. I think you're on the right tracks. I will add that a collector wi...

Re: Most Expensive Capri ?

Bad advert as no pics of the near side, rear, front or interior  I did notice the lack of exterior photos, but the listing does say that some will follow. Perhaps the seller is waiting for the car to be cleaned properly first? Either way, I doubt anybody would spend this much on a car without...

Re: Most Expensive Capri ?

Wind up merchant! Hehe I was going to write that then I saw your little footnote, funny! I couldn't help myself! We don't know if this green was the original colour and there had been a colour change in the past, and it has now been restored in the original Modena Green. If the colour changes had b...

:agree: This car looks stunning in Modena green, although the HPI check in the listing states that it may not be the original colour.
I wonder who restored it?

Most Expensive Capri ?

Don't get me wrong, this car looks gorgeous, and I've love to own it. I just can't remember any road-going Capri having such a high asking price before. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144284491300?hash=item2198069e24:g:wpsAAOSwBMFhi1sh Andrew Note to pbar: The price looks reasonable to me.

Re: Time

As the others have said, it seems there's never enough time to do the jobs that need to be done. When I've got time available I never seem to have the motivation ! Still, I'm luckier than most as I generally work Monday to Thursday so I usually have a long weekend available. Keep up the good work, k...

Re: Fitting Superflex TCA Inner Bushes

When you say the bushes "pop out", do you mean that maybe one side of the wider shoulder doesn't go in?

I know this is a stupid question, but have you taken the metal sleeve out of the bush? It looks to me like you're doing every thing right.

:welcome: to the forum! I've fitted Superflex TCA inner bushes without any problem, and I don't have any specialist engineering equipment. Re: opinions

It's a tricky situation. Personally, I wouldn't approach a gang of youths, the ones you describe above don't sound like the sort that would listen to reason. I wonder if the overstretched Police would respond though, unless a crime is actually commited, and then you'd probably only be given a crime ...
