Hi Peter,
I can't make out all of the for sale advert on the screen, but it appears to be for a Focus RS, not the Capri.
That figures, if I owned the Mk2 in the photo I wouldn't want to sell it either!

Re: Rear axle problems

What are the steps for mouting rear suspention ? Assemble the leafsprings to the rear axle and than together to the body? We made it like that but now can't reach these two bolts. I usually put the front spring bolt in first, then the rear as there is some movement in the shackle. I attach the U-bo...

I don't know the car personally, but I have seen it around: 1st place in the Mk2 Concours, CCI National 2017: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4172/33676059364_2744521b43_k.jpg Ford Capri 3000 S WEH144S by Andrew 2.8i , on Flickr As you can imagine, it is in superb condition. Andrew.

Re: Next Year will be the 50th Anything Happening?

I've just noticed that the date for the 50th anniversary bash is on a Sunday. That's a shame as, if I remember correctly, the 45th anniversary gathering was on a Saturday, and was hoping that the same might be true for the 50th. Oh well, it looks like I'll have to book some time off work for the fol...

I'm sorry if I caused you any offence Paul, I was merely attempting to be humorous...

I think your assessment of the chap is spot on.....in my first post I too referred to him as arrogant.

No, nor me. Although if you believe what you read on the internet, a similar show has been known to use production crew to pose as the buyer and/or seller.....

I saw it for the first and last time last night. What an obnoxious :wank: that Drew is. All he said was me me me and I I I. Horrible little poisoned dwarf. Wow Paul! Did he sell you some antique furniture that later turned out to be reproduction or something? The whole Golf grille arg...

Re: Salvage Hunters Classic Cars

Sorry Andy, my mistake. I meant to write that the listings don't mention about the buyer appearing on TV.
Perhaps the buyer of the Lotus wasn't screen-worthy enough and they changed their mind about the buying being obliged to appear?

Re: Queen Square January 2018

Hi Rob, And that's the thing, there's plenty of classic shows in the year, but not many meets where a '34 Lagonda & new 911 Turbo are vying for parking space That sums it up nicely! :) glad to see a few Capris out too, the green 3.0s left before I got to see it  I missed the 3.0S too, but a...

Re: Salvage Hunters Classic Cars

The name of the show is not mentioned in the listing, although the timing of the condition that the buyer must appear on camera within four weeks seems to be spot on. It also seems a coincidence that we are talking about a man called Drew Pritchard and the seller on Ebay is dp_classics.

Queen Square January 2018

Good Morning, Well, the new year has barely just begun and the show/ meet season has already started! I was a bit concerned that some people may have lost interest in bringing their cars along, this is because at the December meet there was a large presence of Police and traffic wardens and a lot of...

Re: Daewoo

No wonder you never see Daewoo cars around these days. According to howmanyleft.co.uk, there are just 117 Espero (36 licensed and 275 Nexia (107 licensed) left. At their peak in 1999 there were 16,097 Espero and 31,317 Nexia registered.
