I found this in the Haynes manual, if it helps.

Or is that the stage you're already at?

Re: Boot lock dis-assembly

Let's hope it's not held in by a roll pin like the door lock! :) :sorry:

Sorry Danny, I can't help with the boot lock and I can't really see from the photo what you need to do.

:goodluck: with it.

Other Cougars available
I think I know what you mean.

The Cougar (Puma concolor) is a large felid of the subfamily Felinae, native to the Americas.

Ouch!
I wonder what speed the driver was going when the lamp post jumped out in front him? That's what happened, officer. Honestly!

Classic; Mk1 Escort

Modern; Mitsubishi Lancer ?
Hi Andy,
You're right about the first car. Your guess with the second proves your point about modern cars looking the same! :D
Any more guesses?

I much prefer the early pic, when cars didn't all look the same Very true, Andy! Your comment got me thinking about the good old days. When I was a young boy, I could easily identify a car from the smallest of details, and I'm sure a lot of the people here on the forum could do the same. Now I ofte...

I've just noticed that a town near me, Lampeter, is featured in Nick's first photo.
How that same street is now, as seen on Google Streetview.

It was a very good show I thought this year.
Sounds good. I've heard that "Cherry" the 2.8 Special was on display, were there any more Capris there?

Re: Haynes Breakfast Club Meets 2020

Thanks Andy! The April date is a week before the Weston show, so I doubt I'll be going that month. May will clash with, or is only a week before, the CCI Nationals. June, July and August will probably clash with everybody's favourite local shows (dates to be confirmed). A late season visit in Septem...

Just had Jan, one of our cleaners in work, who loves a chat & the odd conspiracy theory, telling me I should google a story about ‘Mel’s Hole’.
Can’t see that going wrong :?

Hi Steve, That's a shocker. That bearing must have been making a horrendous noise, there's no way that the vehicle's owner could have been oblivious that something was wrong, and was still prepared to continue driving. I wonder why they finally chose to get the van repaired? An impending MOT ...

Re: Floor Bungs.

On the subject of how innocent searches may get you into trouble, I've just watched an American TV show where one person called another a "Douche". Not being totally au fait with American colloquial parlance, although I had an idea of the possible meaning, I decided to enter the word into Google.......
