Hey everyone. Long time πŸ˜… Just got the car back on the road after having stored it outside at my parents place since around November of last year. (2020) Where I was living at the time there just wasn't any reliable or safe parking, and I was hardly using it so it was a waste of tax. I took it off t...

Thanks! No I think I'll leave them off this time. I like the clean look.

Finally finished! She's not perfect, there's a few little bits that didn't come out very well, but all things considered overall I'm happy with the results. Time to start enjoying her again. https://i.postimg.cc/jSH75h8b/Pics-Art-09-02-05-01-10.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/13fbBx8p/Pics-Art-09-02-05-04-...

Why thank you. It's mostly my dad he's the expert and work horse lol. I get tired out yet he keeps going, not bad for a man in his mid 70's.

Think a jubilee clip is more reversible than araldite is... would certainly make it easier to change the hose when ethanol (apparently) will eat it inside out
The araldite is to stick the fire extinguisher to the dashboard 🀣🀣

This is very good stuff. Apply 2/3 coats for extra protection. It's a great barrier against brake dust.

The paint crazing was a bit of bad luck
Yeah not sure what caused it. I've rubbed it down a couple of layers now and I seem to be through it so hopefully that will do.

Questions about 15" wheels.

Did a quick search but couldn't find anything on this subject so thought I'd ask. If my research is correct, a 15" wheel will fit fine as long as it has an offset of ET-0, is that right? What is the best size of tyres to get, I'm looking at some 195 50's, but was wondering if there was anything...

It's always real when "they" want it to be. For the rest of us it's just austerity.
