Re: 2.8 Shell Project
Yes it is a shame. I thought i would finish this one. I think if I had a double garage I might have been able to do it. I have the money but not much time. If I had an hour or two I could have got somewhere. With maybe 8 hours a month dedicated to it. I had that amount of time spare but the problem ...

Re: My Project Parts For Sale
To be honest I had a lot of parts but it was space to do the work that did it. It started to make me unhappy. The parts are expensive though.
The shell has now been sold and will become a 3.0 s. It's good to know that it's helping a 3.0s get back into action.

Re: 2.8 Shell Project
I am now finally abandoning my project and selling everything. I just don't have the time or the space and quite frankly because of all the stress it is causing me I have finally lost interest. I am selling up all my parts if anyone is interested. I will be listing them on here and eventually ebay i...

Re: Capri V10
Hi there. Been following your build for a while now and I'm pleased it's still going. I was wondering if you use a vacuum to make your panels and then bake? I read a book on composites and decided I would never have the space or equipment to do a proper job. I have always fantasized about making my ...

Rust location. Panel needed but no idea of the name
Hi guys. I have a rust hole from the engine bay to the wheel well. I think the bumper mounts through this panel. I need to get a couple of repair panels but I don't know what they're called so it's hard to search for. I went on steel panels website but they don't have pictures of all their panels. A...

Re: Escort Spring Shackles
Thanks for your reply. The ones I saw were from motorsport tools and they are £23 but the capri ones from cci are £70 or something like that. Very pricy. Can martin get new ones cheaper?

Are these tanks always going to be available now or was it a limited run? I do want/need one but I need lots of other bits as well so I need to know where it should be on my priority list.

Re: 2.8 Shell Project
Ok so this is my first proper update in a while. I am no longer doing RX8 independent rear suspension, nor am I doing a Jag V8 or V6, and not even a Volvo 5 pot. I’m going back to basics. I’m using excruciatingly expensive standard parts. Why? Well I have money for my project, but not much space or ...
