Re: Salvage Hunters Classic Cars
I will be watching, there is another one to look out for on Quest called Goblin Garage, there is a MK2 Escort in the trailer. I'm the same with Drew and Paul, not sure if I like Drew but Paul seems the better of the two. What they did to that Mk2 verges on disgraceful - bad enough that 'Mr Cool Ame...

Re: Unbelievable.....
I'm not getting hot and bothered about it all Hi Mike, That's almost a disapointment! I was envisioning scenes reminiscent of those from the film "Duel" if you ever encountered one of us while driving on the highway.... Just joking, of course.... All the best, Andrew. Although...

Re: Unbelievable.....
What with this thread and the recent threads criticising BMW drivers, poor Mike has received a lot of flak on this forum recently...... Let's all enjoy the roads together and remember that the most important thing is to get home safely to your loved ones. Andrew. Ha Ha! I hadn't even mentioned the ...

Re: Unbelievable.....
Hi Andy, many thanks for reading and digesting my points. Many times since I have experienced a HGV in the middle lane of the Motorway, struggling to get past an equal size vehicle using the inside lane, therefore causing a queue and frustration behind it. Andy Andy I HATE being 'that' guy, out in l...

Re: Unbelievable.....
This may be contentious, but I do feel that Trucks should be confined to the inside lane and 50 mph in pouring rain. Their spray can magnify the poor visibility problem 10 fold but they don't realise what it's like for cars following them as they sit so high above it. :agree: with all you say Paul,...

Unusual Use for Doyle's RS2000
Hi everyone, hope you are all well..... Some of you may already have seen this but I came across this as a suggested clip on YouTube yesterday, and was struck at the choice of car for one of these experiments (also clocked the PNO prefix) - then noted that someone in the comments section mentions th...

1984 2.8 Injection Breaking
Hi everyone, A friend of mine is breaking a 1984 Y reg 2.8i. The car was his daily driver until he took it off the road 10 years ago for restoration, but sadly other projects meant that the restoration never came and the car stood in a workshop at the bottom of his garden. Unfortunately the rot has ...

Re: Anglia Car Auction Results
I searched Google and came up with this: http://platewave.com/SLE71R The plate, and therefore the car, is now owned by somebody called Bill. Andrew. I suppose that will open up the debate again over whether this IS the Minder Capri as I know it has been discussed on here before that the number has ...

Re: Anglia Car Auction Results
Hi All, Am I right in thinking that John Hill sold SLE 71R some time ago? Does anyone know where it's been since the sale? Andrew. I think there was a piece in a classics magazine sometime this year saying that it had been sold by J.H and was undergoing restoration, I'm just not sure where. It did ...

I interpret that as meaning it's not a Laser interior. As has already been rightly said, this seller seems to be someone who perhaps doesn't know their Capri TopTrumps so well!andyd wrote:
