Managed to sort it with your advice, but getting to the nuts seemed way more of a faff than it needed to be due to the awkward angle to get to the bolts through the access holes

Just wondering what size brake shoes/drums am I looking for to replace what’s likely the original set up on my 1980 1.6 L?

I’ve seen on eBay you can get 8” and 9” but not sure which is standard on my car (I just want to replace with new bits like for like)

With the brakes personally I'd say save your money - I have a 1.6 that after several mods is now 105+bhp (standard is about 69-72 when new) and I'm still on the original brakes and there are no issues. The 2.0 I have is also still on original brakes and that's probably around the same bhp so unless...
