Re: Really?

I think that cars like these are the sort of thing that are so far gone it's too hard to justify trying to put them back to a standard spec because they need so much work, but would better suit someone doing something crazy custom like a track car, zakspeed replica, other sort of crazy body kit etc....

To my eyes it looks like the rear would be more problematic to put right than the front.

Re: Really?

I think 156MPH is a little ambitious... though the ad does say "THE ORIGINAL OWNER SAID A LOT OF WORK HAD BEEN DONE TO THE ENGINE AND WHEN IT WAS LAST ON THE ROAD IT WAS CLOCKED AT 156 MPH ,I HAVE NO REASON TO NOT BELIEVE HIM" So the previous owner gave this guy a load of BS if that's the ...

Re: Boot wont shut

Well that didn't last long. As with all good things in my life they never last, and now this heap of shite is back to being crap, if not worse than it was before. I've tried everything short of taking the headlining out and adjusting the hinges there, nothing else seems to work. Ugh. I'm just not g...

Re: Who Remembers?

After games or PE we were all compelled to take a shower in a minging shower block with the pervy teacher watching us. In Rugby one of the teachers would join in the scrum and would conveniently accidently touch student's balls whilst in there. Times were different then. I can see why when I was th...

Re: Car storage

I have an outdoor carcooon. Few hundred quid but super product that has a fan continuously running to prevent condensation etc I've just had a quick gander at carcoons as I've been thinking about moving on from Stormforce for a while, but looking at the measurements it looks like the size needed to...

Re: Typical!

I had mine out in the snow the other day! Roads were a bit slush-y but all good fun in the end, that's the one benefit to not having an immaculate car, I know it needs the work and I'll get round to it eventually and then it won't see the rain at all, but for now I can just enjoy it all year round :)

Re: Worth complaining

Glad to hear you've 'stuck it to the man' again! Someone told me the other day that they did the same thing with their Sky TV and now get an insane deal... apparently they get every single channel going and only pay something like £30 a month rather than about £80-100!! They got the introductory dea...

Re: Window glass fell into the door - help

When you're re-fitting the glass into the slider mechanism again, make sure you grease up the plastic roller and the runner part at the bottom of the glass to try and avoid it happening again!
