Re: Electrical gremlins

If you have a multi-meter I'd say to check any connections to the components that you can to check the current and see if they are getting the right power in the first place, if not then its worth the £15 investment to have one, I use mine all the time! I'd also take the fuses out of the headlight r...

Re: A couple of bits

Funny I did check a few capris at the ace to see if there was anything supposed to be in the holes under the bumper as I do have some rubber bungs I was going to put in there . So what are them holes for ? I want to say they are to allow water to escape?? My GL has got a load of expanding foam in t...

Re: Battlesbridge Classic Ford Show 2018

Re: Battlesbridge Classic Ford Show 2018

Too many nice wheels for me to pick my favourites!! The yellow capri has awesome wheels though, and love the white flared arches/deep dish wheels combo! The XR4i with five spokes looks the biz! Andrew's car has made me fall in love all over again though, that is absolutely stunning! That engin...

Re: What a Waste!

It looks like it's full of junk but doesn't look beyond redemption. Bit of grot on the roof hinge but sills and arches look OK. Looks like someone has cut the rear wash jet out and welded a flat patch over it which is odd! Always a shame to see cars in this state but I think that's because we like ...

You aren't wrong! Just did the maths, if you went and ordered one of everything off that list, it would set you back £3.65, basically the cost of a pint almost exactly!

Re: The Ace Cafe Capri Day 2018

Less than a week to go! I must admit I have left Calvin to do the organising this year due to an ongoing situation. Hopefully this will come out as well, but can I get some feedback please at somepoint for how you felt this years event went? Calvin is not the organising type really so I would like ...

Very nice! They do indeed look gorgeous. 8-) The white lettering on the tyres looks like it was factory applied. Incredibly neat! You'll have to be extremely careful around kerbs now.... Andrew. Haha thanks Andrew, it did take a good few hours! My dad had to do the large delicate N with the small s...

Re: Laser + GL

Thanks John, I've had a quick look and does look a decent option! Only thing that worries me is that is says it won't fit with the standard servo in place... Also for an extra £25 I can get a custom made one that will fit around the servo so personally I'd rather play it safe... Great find though, I...

Recaro seat runners

I think this thread has the potential to get out of hand quite quickly...

Can we please agree to focus on helping the OP with their query before we lose another member or two over this....?

Re: 1.6 laser brake upgrade

Jeez guys give the guy a brake ( ;) ). It's an m16 calliper still, just vented and spaced, he's not fitting an m16 machine gun to the bonnet. Believe it or not, not everyone sees 40 year old technology as a foolproof masterpiece. Things have moved on. Modern cars have bigger calipers and discs for ...

But be warned they can somehow sap power as I found on my Impreza, but that had the rear box only.

:goodluck: with yours!

It's only right that it's been restored in it's original colour, but if I could buy an RS, a white one wouldn't be my first choice.

Andrew.

That is gorgeous, white isn't my personal favourite either but I still wouldn't turn it down!
