Maybe I should think about getting the car running, maybe fix the holes and stuff before buying shiny bits  Though there are a nice set of Starmags on here, and only down the road from me, which wou...

Re: Pinto Exhaust Recommendation?

I always knew, and still do , what 19 x 7 is, no idea why. Anyway, someone posted a like to 'Daisy' with the twin exhaust on a pinto, which has got me thinking of that as a plan. It is a nice system, but I wouldn't say it was quiet - granted not as loud as the 3" exit you have currently but still n...

dB are like the Richter scale - each increase is logarithmic and not a 'standard' increase

Re: Pinto Exhaust Recommendation?

I read that earlier today - not a bad idea, but slightly ridiculous to be set at 74dB? Found a list of comparable noises and how loud they are: Passenger car at 65 mph at 25 ft (77 dB); Living room music (76 dB); radio or TV-audio, vacuum cleaner (70 dB). Edit: Also apparently the average volume of ...

I think you'd be hard pushed to find a genuine Ford one, but they make reproduction manifolds?

For Sale - Wheel Clamp

Not sure if it's of any use to anyone but I got given this wheel clamp the other day - used to be on my grandparents caravan that they no longer have. It's a pretty hefty bit of kit! Adjustable, two keys etc £20 to whoever wants it, ideally collection from Wycombe/Aylesbury area, or can bring to CRa...
