Re: Hi from East London

Thanks mate
I did have them on there but vandals broke them so had to replace them with what I had lying around.
Some say it looks 'hard' with the mk3 lights but I personally preferred the mk2 lights.

Re: Sierra cosworth 4x4 Immaculate £6500 or px Capri 2.8 Spe

Thanks guys!
I'm not after speed, I need style back in my life Lol
I've had a couple of capris, but never a 2.8i- saying that, the right 3.0 wouldn't go a miss.
Looking for a very nice spec I can take to shows
The sierra just isn't cutting it anymore lol

Re: Running 2.8 with twin turbo's

I though LPG was very lean and would end up blowing a hole in the piston.
Always overfuel just very slightly rather than under fuel

Re: engine start but struggles and cuts out 1000rpm

Some webers have a feed on the side where an electric current flows to keep it running and others have manual chokes. Post up a few pics of the carb if u can.

Re: Capri Mk1 V4 vs V6 Oil and Water Pumps - Same or Differe

Hi mate, as far as I know, most parts are inerchangeable from v4 to v6.
However, in anout 1969, ford did change the oil pumps in the essex engines with a slightly different pick up pipe.

My neighbour was the same, until he said something sarcastic to my brother about my car when he was down visiting me....then my brother sparked him right in the eye :boxing: Haven't had a word out of him since
