Would you swap the intercooler for a bigger front mount one?

I have a 2.8 turbo, and the intercooler I bought is a bit too big, and i can't squeeze it in with the fuel distributor etc...

Is anyone selling a 2.8i tank that isn't leaking?

I stripped the underseal off my tank and it seems the underseal was what was keeping everything inside, and it's now like a collander!

I'm in Salisbury, so collection within 50 miles or so/postage.

I bought the complete engine, but it only has the standard vac capsule on it, and the pipe is rusted out unfortunately. Many thanks for that link though, just spoke to him and even though he couldn't help with parts, he was more than happy to supply me with info, and all the things I needed to know....

Hi all, just bought myself a turbo technics XR4x4 engine, however it's missing a few things....

Does anyone happen to have the pipe that links the exhaust manifolds, the turbo downpipe and (REAL long shot here) the vac advance/retard module for the dizzy.

I've just had this problem, I found that the timing case wasn't sat properly, as the gasket was folded. But you could be facing the coolant jacket being corroded.

And a land rover viscous and fan will fit on a 2.8 (unsure of pinto) and it gives an extra 2" on the diameter, meaning better cooling.

Its a piece of piss, 27mm fan spanner on the back, 10mm on the front, and its left hand thread for the 27mm.


Putting it back on just put it hand tight and the engine spins it tight.

How much cheaper CG?
