Re: Blue plastic lenses in dashboard pod removal

I was wondering how you were getting on with this Jason. I think it would be the only option I would opt for, those blue covers won't less forever, so simply removing them, having standard wattage tinted bulbs, and a still working dimmer tick all the boxes for me.

Re: Wanted Original Laser wheels

Everyone and his uncle seems to have Laser wheels in the garden shed, I'm sure you will find someone to help. I bought a very nice set on here from a good member to improve on the ones I had. Hopefully you will get them for around £10-£15 per wheel, that's the kind of price I paid.

It is possible to lubricate that whilst it is in place -

Ah yes, thanks Nick. Like yourself, I have only ever used it on the closest lock.

Re: Painting rocker cover. Primer?

Are you supposed to use primer with high temperature paint, as the primer isn't high temp obviously so that will be the weak point?

Re: canvas garage

more importantly what are the rules etc for having one, do they need a permit or planning from our corrupt local authorities? Any advice appreciated. Depends where it goes to be honest. For example if it is going in a garden to the rear of a house, and it not taking up more than half of the grounds...

Re: A Sign of the Times

Who's got enough time on their hands that they feel the need to complain about this stuff? In the main it is people who are employed in non productive roles, often jobs which did not even exist years ago, and are desperate to prove their worth and career existence. After all if they didn't do such ...

Re: Garage prep for B112

Paint on a floor will always wear. If you go to any garage or workshop or industrial unit which has painted floors, you will always see parts where it has worn away or been scraped or faded.

Thank guys. As Andy says Great British Humour. It's exactly that, and there is nothing quite like it. I love a lot of quintessential British things, and the humour is one of them.

Re: Who Remembers?

There was a time when these postcards were just a typical thing you would see at every newsagents on holiday, and nobody minded or cared. Bet there will come a time when these will be rare collector's items and banned in the modern world. Very funny though, classic British humour. https://pbs.twimg....

Very nice Neil, one of the few modern cars I can appreciate actually. And I like the way these cars have become part of a motoring enthusiasts world, many people being passionate about them.

Those gates are good in front of the garage, gives double protection.

Would one of those small inspection cameras help to see what's going on in there. About £40 at Aldi.

Thank you for replies, will take note as always. I had a mess with mixture and idle last night before my latest test drive, and all was good again. Didn't cut out at all and never looked like it might do. I am assuming that all the little things I did have given the result - carb cleaned out, jets c...
