Just wondering if others have received this months magazine as mine seems very late again. Will give them a ring if so.

Strut Top Nut Cover

Just wondering if anyone has, or knows where to get, one of the little black plastic covers from the strut top nut, I've had one missing for ages.

Oh yes, I know the ad you mean. That's interesting, and good to know that he's a genuine enthusiast.

Re: Police Capri Revisited

Thanks Andrew. I was aware of the Irish plates but was glad to read the other info you posted. Typically, that show/festival, which I've been to numerous times, does seem to have a number of Irish visitors/exhibitors.

So true Jason, and even now I wouldn't like to come up against that chasing me, it looks the business. Much better than the yellow/blue livery they have now which wouldn't scare a baby.

I think it's a ruling by the distance selling regulations, or similar. Some still try to wiggle out of it.

Re: Auto box changing up too soon

they said they will post me the correct one if I sent it back I assume they would refund the return postage costs Danny? Although some companies try to refuse, I think it's illegal not to. So would be interested to know their stance, as I don't like to use companies who do that. If something is not...

Police Capri Revisited

It was good to see a police Capri which I've seen before at a festival in North Wales recently. How brilliant it must have been to see these charging up and down the roads back in the day. Unless they were following you of course.

Quick question, is there a reason why you didn't replace the points?

I was thinking the same, I find it pointless ( :) ) to try and reset the points, much better off replacing if you can.

The seller I.D. looks familiar, wasn't there a member on here with the surname of Aldon. You may be thinking of Adlen85? Andrew. Perhaps Andrew, yes. That was Liam wasn't it, I spoke to him a couple of times, several members on here were going to restore Dixy's Capri (who sadly passed away), and I ...
