Tickford Capri Advert

Little Tickford advert from back in the day. Interesting to note the price, which is equivalent to over £51,000 today. Expensive car for sure. https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/73157132_2752504728117354_5281564912168992768_n.jpg?_nc_cat=111&_nc_oc=AQnqJ0gZtmu1ig02xHdDLpckBIM-DWlokI_D026U...

Aldi - New Car Stuff & Security Post

Our friend Aldi has more new car stuff in at the moment, including tools, petrol cans (cheapest I have seen at less than £4), axle stands, car mats and so on. But currently, they have security posts at just £6.99. Don't let the price fool you, they seem a very decent solid piece of kit. Surface moun...

one must be careful when digging around though, since all of your life experiences has made you You, changing one thing that makes you feel shit... will make you not feel shit about it anymore, so the chances of repeating said action or lack of action is a sure thing. 70s Glam Rock belting out of a Capri on a summer's day, you can see people wondering what era they have landed in as you drive past them :)

Re: lookng for EFN 908L

You can contact DVLA and request owner details. Think it costs either £2.50 or £5 depending on your reason.

I see that you have tried TalkFord, you may also wish to try the Capri Power forum and the Capri Club.

Don't you have any experiences that you wish to lose. I know I do!

Re: Mot time

Mine passed the other day, thankfully. Always a nerve wracking experience, though I tend to be more nervous of the fact that someone is messing with my car as opposed to the test itself!

Re: I sold a car almost 2 years ago and its never been picked up.

He bought a car two years ago, paid, and never picked it up? What?! Pretty much as Andy says, I would just be honest and say you cannot store it any longer and he needs to either collect or find alternative storage himself. I guess you could do the groundwork and find storage on his behalf, he pays ...

Paul,
Those magnets are really useful for all sorts of things:
Nice display :)

I notice that you used them on the replacement/experimental ballast resistor you made :)

the lack of side stripes
Good point Peter, the boot and wing decals have gone also. So the lack of any decal whatsoever certainly must contradict what is said in the listing as regards to work done.

Re: *Wanted*Tailgate wiper motor plastic trim cover

How about fixing it with strong magnetic thin blocks. Easy to remove then too, and you wouldn't have to do anything to the car, no sticky velcro pads or anything like that.

Re: Factory Original But Not Right?

Radiator cover and timing belt covers are missing also. I know all these things are only small but when a seller makes comments akin to how the car left the factory then it makes you find these things, and also makes you wonder what else you may be misled about. Honesty is best. Looks to be a nice e...

Re: Factory Original But Not Right?

Thank you Paul. Yes it looks to be a good car but the description doesn't quite tally with what we can see.
