Re: Outer sill replacement

Thanks for the replies gents, I knew the question was a bit of a stretch as there is no way to tell what's behind them, I'm in a difficult position really as the car on paper is nothing special, she's a 1.6 laser thats been converted to 3 litre with all associated running gear, interior is still la...

Re: Outer sill replacement

You will be lucky to get even a ball park figure on these kind of jobs. Problem is until you are into the job you can only give an educated guess as to what you will find and in my experience there is usually far more that needs addressing before the new sills are fitted.

I would be very interested at sensible money - certainly not E Bay prices. What price are you looking for?

Re: New Car Programme on TV Soon

If you're going to watch any of the car programmes, watch Fantomworks. It's the most honest, upfront of any shows, the best since Mark Evans did his restoration projects.
The rest are just TV bullshit.

Re: Wanted for mk3 laser

I have new bonnet lip trim. Wiper not working is usually a bad connection on the contact rather than the motor. The non working heater is almost certainly a knackered motor.

Leave it off and fit an inline filter between the fuel pump and carburettor.

Have you tried this company Martin - https://www.wheelcarrier.co.uk/acatalog/store.html Cheers for the link. I'll get in touch but I suspect they will volumise large panels w...

Re: Speedo Cable

The ones listed on E Bay, Burton Power etc are all wrong. They are for the 3 litre /4 speed 2.8i. I'm pretty sure I have a used original cable at the workshop.
I am back in on Monday so I can confirm then.
