Re: Mk3 headlamps

You would probably need both wiring diagrams from the capri and Cortina.

Re: Mk3 headlamps

Later MK2 and MK3 stalks are the same. It could be the relay on the bulkhead, MK2 ones were different.

No, the ones supplied by Joe were totally different to the ones being sold through CCI and retroford.

Unfortunately I can't find out who supplies these so you'll have to go through Capri Club or Retroford. I would like to find out though.

Update - Master cylinders

I have received prices for the fully refurbished ATE master cylinders. Price is £176.95 plus £30.00 surcharge against your old cylinder. That is inclusive of U.K Mainland only carriage but I am prepared to ship them anywhere for additional postage/packing. I can also get the MK2 master cylinders ref...

Re: 2.8i master cylinders

Andrew As I can't get the cars anymore then the parts have to be refurbished or reproduced. I'm not about to get into the hole for a large amount of money or invest a lot of time in these things as previous experience has taught me that although at the time interest appears to be there it soon disap...

Re: 2.8i master cylinders

Rob
I would think exchange as I have quite a few cylinders to begin with but as I can't get in cars to break anymore then the supplies will be dwindling if we don't have exchanges.

2.8i master cylinders

I am currently in discussion with a supplier with a view to offering fully refurbished original ATE brake master cylinders for the 2.8i. These are not simply stripped down and re sealed, they will have complete new bores and pistons and all new seals. Before I go ahead I would like to gauge what int...

Re: Racks steering

All of the manual racks are the same so if it's listed for MK1 it will also fit MK2/3.
The power racks will fit 2.8i and 3 litre.

I agree it is bloody annoying but they're still good value. However, if anyone on my list doesn't want to go ahead then that's fine.

Re: Will this sender fit my Mk2 3.0

That sender is for a later MK2 and all the MK3. The early MK2 had the sender in the front of the tank and it is a totally different sender.

Important ! Ref fuel tanks

To everyone who has expressed an interest in these fuel tanks.

The prices I was quoted are INCORRECT.

I have contacted Magnum and am awaiting confirmation of the actual prices.
As soon as I have these I will inform everyone.

Apologies to all concerned.

The pipes and neck should be O.K. I don't currently stock the senders but you could try CCI for them.

Re: Tickford Capri

It's down to personal tastes I suppose. They were bloody expensive back in the day for what they were, still are. I suppose the Aston Martin name added a few grand to the price tag.

Re: Tickford Capri

Hi, On the whole, I like the Tickford.....a Capri with 205BHP, what's not to like? :) I can appreciate the attention to detail that went into altering the design, both the engineering aspects and the styling must have been studied in great detail before being redesigned. For example, the extra seal...
