Re: Radiator Coolant Level

You probably don't always need Specialists but there'll come a time when you won't have them anymore and unless you actually know what you require then the general factors will be no use at all.
Just a thought.

Re: Going slightly mad

The lights issue may be a knackered indicator stalk , they're prone to breaking.

Re: Door card rubbers

I'll send stuff anywhere in the world, I have quite a few NZ customers. I generally take the phone off the hook over lunch as I'm on my own, also, if I have a particular job on a car that requires concentration I also take the phone off the hook.

Re: Getting RS 7 spoke wheel centre caps off!

If the caps haven't been off for a while they tend to almost corrode into place. I have had to pull them off the wheel by making a hook tool to get in the bolt hole and then try to shock the cap free. Sometimes they can be a real pain.

I have previously owned both the 4 cylinder and V6 Probes and really enjoyed both of them, the V6 is especially fun to drive.

Re: VV Carb to 34 ICH conversion kit

You can bin most of them. You will need the vacuum pipe from the carb to the advance/retard module on the dizzy but that's about it. The crankcase breather just needs a pipe from the inlet manifold.

Re: New Car Programme on TV Soon

I see the flipping bangers boys are up to their old tricks! I can't see the logic of spending money on new bumpers and other items, and also getting the wheels powder coated, once they'd made the decision not to finish the Beetle and to sell it as a project. I wouldn't have thought that they'd reco...

I've got a pair of multileafs that I took off the 3 litre that I recently broke. Bushes are all good and there's plenty of life left in the springs.

It's not you, the country is fucked, PC, race card, feminists and numerous other things that get banded about. The media also like to jump on the bandwagon and whip up a frenzy over what is in reality not even worth the airtime. None of these protesters do their causes any good in the way they condu...

Re: 1979 Capri 2.0 "Ghia"

Can you move the bottom flap by operating the lever without the cable connected? if so then you should be able to set up the movement by the cable. If you give me a bell at the workshop I'll try to talk you through it. I never disconnect the cables when I'm building the heaters, I set them up while ...

I have three of these as well in case anyone wants to make up sets of five and have a matching spare. All in excellent condition with tyres and centre caps.
