Re: No mot if car is 40 years old .

I can certainly assure you that not all cars are cared for by loving owners. If you encountered the kinds of things that I've seen over the years. A large percentage of cars are owned by people who have neither the funds or the ability to maintain the vehicles properly. Anybody who think that the id...

Re: Aldi Compressor - Opinions?

You could get decent results using a HVLP gun and it would be as lot better than fannying around with aerosol cans.

Re: Aldi Compressor - Opinions?

Workzone stuff is bloody good value for the money. That compressor would be great just to have in the garage to use as and when, certainly beats the shit out of using a foot pump!

Re: Clutch cable, is this the correct part?

All the cables have the same end fittings but there are at least three different lengths of cable.

Re: No mot if car is 40 years old .

If your Capri is in good condition then an MOT shouldn't be anything to worry about, if it isn't then should it even be on the road?

Re: Tickover delivery

What you will find is that the couriers will volumise packages over a certain size, take a bonnet for instance, the volume cost is way more than if it was going simply on weight then there's the time and packing materials used in packaging the part. As I said previously, we don't set the charges and...

Re: Tickover delivery

I can't comment on what others quote but the shipping options I have are Royal Mail - small parcels up to 2kg, Parcel Force or Fed Ex for anything over. It's frustrating for me when you have a small heavy parcel and the shipping is over £10 for U.K mainland but we don't set the tariffs so you're sla...

Re: HEATER REMOVAL

If it's a 75 then it will most likely have the early Smiths heater in it . The later Cars had the BEHR heater which is better for getting parts for.I have replacement motors and resistors for the BEHR unit but I don't have anything for the Smiths unit. I have just finished building a 1974 MK2 GT for...

Re: Capri 3.0 Ghia Auto For Sale Oyster Gold

So what if a dealer did buy it, yes, it was extremely good value especially in todays over inflated market but it was open for anyone to buy and complete. There's no point in moaning about who's bought it and what they're planning to do with it. As long as the seller and the new owner are both satis...
