Re: Wanted sunroof winder handle

I wouldn't let the voice of a minority speak for the masses Martin. I think the Capri Club is fantastic and the effort they put into remanufacturing parts is paramount and essential. I'm not the only one who thinks that I'm sure. Unfortunately it appears to be a very silent majority. That does seem...

Re: Wanted sunroof winder handle

Chances are that if they do no one will want to buy them as they'll get accused of ripping people off as usual. I wouldn't let the voice of a minority speak for the masses Martin. Re: Axle location kit help

Not really, they do improve things especially if you have the front strut brace as well but on the majority of my customer builds I just polybush everything and that helps a lot.
I stock all of the Superflex range of polybushes for the Capri.

Re: Axle location kit help

You can't use them on multileaf springs. If you want to fit the kit you'll have to change to single leaf springs

I wouldn't cut the front screen rubber if I were you as the rubbers for the later screen which your Laser will have are no longer available new.
Oh, I didn't know that Martin.
Yes, earlier screens are not a problem but the later screens are slightly smaller hence the different rubber.

Re: RARE Capri Laser!

His descriptions my be humorous but at least he's honest. I'd much rather have his descriptions then the majority of sellers who dress up what is nothing more than scrap as a "project" You only have to look at the cars that this guy has been selling to see that they're nothing more than scrappers bu...

Re: Mk3 2.0 laser restoration advice

Keep it original . If you decide to put your own spin on the car then when it comes to sell it you will have to hope that any potential buyer likes what you have done, many won't.

Re: Le Man 66' Ford v Ferrari

Simple answer is to go on your own, my girlfriend usually wants to see the rom coms or chick flicks and there's not a snowballs chance in hell that I'll be going to see that crap no matter how large the box of popcorn is.

Re: Late starting heater

No, only the later BEHR units. They were fitted to later MK2 and all MK3 models. Your car will have the earlier Smiths heater. You can fit the BEHR unit into your car.

Re: Late starting heater

I've never known a heater motor to be stuck on, I tend to agree with the previous reply.Whenever I build a car now I always strip out the heater box and fit new matrix, resistor and motor. I have the parts in stock, if you don't fancy tackling the stripdown and replacing the parts just send me your ...

Re: Mk1 Indicator Flasher Unit Location

MK1 facelift flasher units were usually a black three pin relay. Earlier MK1 flasher units tended to be a metal cylindrical unit. Try looking to the left of the steering column as the flasher unit may be clipped to the side of the pedal box bracket.
