MK2/3 Fuel tanks are now available.

I have just been contacted by the suppliers to say that the fuel tanks are now available so I will be contacting the people on my list who have expressed an interest for payment and delivery details.

Confirmed prices are £210 for standard tanks and £240 for the injection ones
Plus carriage.

Re: Who Remembers?

I know the 70's were far from great Compared to now they were fantastic! Being a pre teen my experience was good, life hadn't kicked me in the ass yet.... Too much technology now, and everything is easier with credit being forced on people so little respect for what they own, just buy another when ...

Re: Salvage Hunters Classic Cars

The Mark Evans shows were far and away better than the current crop of utter shite that's being inflicted on us. I don't know who does the research for these shows but they certainly don't involve any sort of car enthusiasts.

Re: Goblin Works Garage

I must admit I'm with Mark on this. There are plenty of snotters around that could have been used for this creation so why use what looks like a very nice condition car. I suppose it makes the build easier but in my opinion it's not good to be losing nice condition cars for this kind of thing. It wo...

Re: Car SOS Series 5

I wouldn't be surprised if the programme researchers pay the full asking price for goods before the cameras start rolling. That way the suppliers would be happy to play along with the blagging for the cameras. Andrew. I would think that's what happens. That is exactly what happens, I know that for ...

Re: Car SOS Series 5

I've thought that too. The bloke with the Daimler Dart was another example. But on the other hand the elderly man with the Audi Quattro was a derserving cause;- he passed away a few months after getting it back but at least it bought happiness to his last few months. Also, as Andyd says, I don't be...

Re: MK3 Rear Light Lens

There's no doubt that I will have them but the time spent in actually getting them out of the units as most have long since dropped out and have been lost makes them pretty difficult to price up. I have literally hundreds of rear light units to go through.

Re: Electric Fan Installation

I've done a couple in 2.8i's by fitting an adapter into the bottom tank of the radiator and wiring up the fan via a Ford Focus fan switch screwed into the adapter.

Re: Salvage Hunters Classic Cars

I don't mind the bike builds, true, with two projects supposedly going on at the same time you don't get much coverage of either build. I would prefer restoring of classic seventies and eighties bikes but that's my favourite era. This programme is following the usual now well trodden path, bugger al...

Re: Really?

I would really like someone to sit me down and explain to me just how these sacks of shite can be turned into even reasonable standard cars without having a huge amount of both time and money thrown at them. I don't know what most of you are looking at with this particular car and many others in a s...

Re: I like......

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised when I watched this. After the utter garbage that was Car SOS the other night I was having my doubts. Unlike most of these programmes they were pretty upfront about the spiralling cost of the project. These things are not cheap to build and that is an Escort w...

Re: Who Remembers?

Can you imagine the chaos if shop assistants etc had to work out how much change you're due without the till actually telling them? Modern cash registers almost wipe their arse for them.
