Re: Windscreen size

New screen all fitted by National Windscreens, through my insurance. Bit of a delay as they had to wait for it to come from Pilkingtons. Best £75 (the excess) I've ever spent. Correct bronze tint, Triplex logo in the corner & fitted perfectly first time. Transformed the look of my Capri, no more...

Re: Windscreen size

The lady from the insurance company rang me a bit ago, just to make sure they can get the right tinted one. Told her it's bronze & luckily she can get one no problem.

Windscreen size

Replacing the screen on my 1985 Laser, as it's got a chip in it, a big scratch & starting to delaminate. Been onto Pilkingtons & they've been really helpful, sent me the size guides etc. Just trying to find out what size my screen actually is? The more I look at info on line, the more confus...

Re: Side light not working

Update. Had a jiggle about with all the connectors on the fuse box & cleaned all the terminals, pleased to say that all the lights are now working.
Thanks for your advice Mc Tool & Danny.

Re: Side light not working

Thanks for your advice Mc Tool, much appreciated. I have a circuit testing probe for my other big hobby which is railway modelling, just tested the connections to the side light & there's no power going to the connector block. The other connector which is for the dip beam lit up the probe with n...

Side light not working

Good evening. Got a little problem with my Lasers O/S sidelight, it's not working?
The rear O/S light is working fine, so didn't think the fuse was the problem but checked it anyway & that's okay.
Have replaced the bulb & cleaned the spade connection, but still no joy? Any ideas please.

Re: Car cover or don't cover

I will do pbar, she's currently safe & sound inside my local garage having a full service, cam belt change, brake fluid change etc, having only done less than a 1000 miles in the last four years. Hopefully get her back tomorrow.

Re: Car cover or don't cover

Thanks guys for all the advice, that's a great help. Jasonmarie, she's in lovely black & had a bare metal respray in 2012. currently in the local garage having a full service, timing belt change, brake fluid change & a general 'health check' as she's barely done a 1000 miles in the last thre...

Re: Car cover or don't cover

Thanks Andrew, the cover I brought is fleece lined so should give a barrier. Hopefully get a few days of good weather & crack on with building the garage.

Car cover or don't cover

Morning all, I'm new to this site having just picked up my 2.0 Laser last week (last had a Capri in 1989) & haven't finished building the garage for her yet. Currently she's under a waterproof cover, but I've read that these can do more harm than good & it's better to leave the car uncovered...
