Re: Oil leaking from behind the dash
Probably vibrated loose slightly over time. Try to tighten the nut. you might be able to reach up taking the bottom panel off only.

Re: rust proofing during resto
No one could know how much you need. It only needs to be applied to rusted areas and worked well into any pitted areas. A small bit goes a long way, but you Don't need to cover the whole car in it surely. Zinc primer as said above will protect non rusted bare metal

Re: rust proofing during resto
Kurust. Paint it directly onto rust but remove all loose bits first. It turns the rust blue and can be painted over after 3 hours

Re: oil leak *picture included*
Is that the breather there? As my haynes manual shows it on the other side. It seems to be coming from there anyway

oil leak *picture included*
I noticed a few drips underneath my rear axle today, so had a look under and it seemed to be mainly around the right axle halfshaft housing. I topped up the diff oil a few weeks ago, but this is on the other side and doesn't actually look like its coming from the diff housing either. Any ideas? http...

Re: led instrument lights
I went for the Cigarette lighter bulb and brought the negative to a spare scre on the indicator stalk. Works a treat.

Re: led instrument lights
Get in line for the dials. Haha. I bought 2 strips that have self adhesive on the back and put them on the very bottom underneath the clocks so they shine upwards at the dials. The front cover obviously has to come off. I drilled a small hole in the back to run the wires through then
