Re: heard it all now....

What about 'when'?
Since when did we start a sentence with when?
Example:
" I went to the fridge but I'd run out of beer"
"WHEN you go to the fridge and you've run out of beer"
Don't get me started on the % 110 :speakenglish:

Re Green Flag....... I've always had great service from them. I get their cover with my bank account along with other benefits such as mobile phone cover etc. On the times I've called them (average about once a year) they've tried to get me mobile but in each case had to be recovered due to major is...

Re: Rubber washer between tail light lense and screw?

You can get assorted sized fibre washers for plumbing applications from any decent diy or plumbers merchants.
They're the orange/red sort of coloured washers used in compression joints around your home.
You can even get leather ones .....and of course rubber.

Re: Moving on but still part of the blue oval club

As soon as the Tranny steels are back from the banders in Manchester and she's off the axle stands due to me hitting it with the lowering stick, I'll stick a couple on for :ford: pervs of all flavours, Andy. On the wheel banding front, I'll let you all know how mine turn out....... Capri's look uber...

Re: Moving on but still part of the blue oval club

I needed a classic :ford: to knock around in while I do project GBH so I recently purchased a P100 Sierra pick up. Love Sierra's as well as Capri's and Cortina's. Mine will be a great Capri parts chaser and I'll be able to hold my head up at some Ford meets with its low stance and banded steels........

Personally I like the mk2 with bits European square headlamps and indicators and really dislike to see mk2's with the 'startled' look of mk3 twin headlamps.......

Research about the power that can be extracted from them.
Some of us have "oh is it only a 2 litre ?" Pinto's and they're cracking engines. I have one in my Capri plus one in my P100 pick up......

Us crinklies don't want to piss on your chips....especially as I love your enthusiasm but Capris have been there done and bought the t-shirt when it comes to our teenage selves bastardising them. There is so much you can meddle with and modify without taking away from the car you start with. As prev...

Re: Project 'GBH'

All joking apart, your silver Laser looks stunning. I'm guessing it was fairly new when that photo was taken. I bet it's the one car that you wish you'd never sold. Andrew. Yes Andrew, it was 4 years old when that was taken. I was 18. It was a one owner car (a Doctor) and yes I wish I'd never sold ...
