Re: V8 32V Zakspeed
Very Spooky ! I got back on this just last week. Got a bit side tracked with another project (Ranchero) http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv174/MinesGT/Ranchero/IMAG0888.jpg I needed to re think the front suspension geometry ets, with having it so low, but starting to get round it now (possibly sho...

Re: V8 32V X Pack 4 Years On !!
It looks amazing! But the ultimate choice of wheels don't suit it at all in my humble onion :? Thanks :) Wheels are a bit blingy to be honest (and may need more dish, and darker paint), but I'm not the best photoshopper to be honest, lol Give it another 6 months, and I will have probably changed th...

Re: V8 32V X Pack 4 Years On !!
Needed to get some wheels which were much nearer to what I needed. Could'nt wait for 17's for mock up, so went with 15's, and changed the size/profile of the tyre to compensate.Might need to go a little wider at the rear...... http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv174/MinesGT/V8%20Capri%20Project/IMA...

Re: V8 32V X Pack 4 Years On !!
Just leaving the tunnel loose for now until I have set the ride height, just in case I need to alter the floor/chassis at the rear, then I can tie it all in together. Well that's the plan anyway!! In the mean time, I have made some adjustable "rear coilovers". Well its a bit of box section,...

Re: V8 32V X Pack 4 Years On !!
Tried going with a more factory look to the gearbox bracket. Originally for a Mustang, it would not allow the gearbox to sit high enough, so made a support brace first to support the gearbox, then cut down the bracket. http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv174/MinesGT/V8%20Capri%20Project/IMAG0518.jp...

I found parking a bit of a work-out with the standard 2L manual rack & a 200kg motor, but then there wasn't room for a P/S rack in mine.

Re: V8 32V X Pack 4 Years On !!
Can't believe its been on the go for that long......... To cut a VERY long story short, after a lot of changes (moving premises twice!!, and withdrawing from another business), I have managed to get my enthusiasm back, and start spending some time back on the Capri. I lifted the engine up a touch, a...

Re: V8 32V X Pack
Hi Its still on going!! Unfortunately work got in the way big time, so progress has been very slow. Transmission tunnel is all but finished, along with gearbox mountings. Engine and box are both now mounted in place, and currently playing around with the ride height/suspension geometry. Now going co...
