what sort of price would my 2.0 laser be worth the now. its just turned on to 91500 miles with 6 months tax and mot. got a hole on front passenger wing above headlight and drivers side has got surface rust. could be doing with new centre box. recently had new steering rack, track rod ends, poly bush...

discs have now been replaced still need everything else on list though

glad to hear you got it going now you can go out and have some fun

follow the wires behind the switches and see where they lead to. might give you an idea as to what they are for.

hi all. looking for a bit of help with some of these items for my 2.0 capri laser

full set of shocks
rear springs
front discs
drivers and passenger seat
full exhaust system

any help would be appreciated greatly

i am getting the exact same problems but mine has had a new battery on it

last time i ordered parts for the capri from halfords they sent the wrong parts twice and then 14 days later still no parts. i just told them not to bother and got them from my local motor factors and they had the parts there same day

just spoke to the lad that did my timing and it was set at 32 degrees at 3500rpm

yeah was set up with a strobe but cant remeber exactly what at.

its had a new battery but i aint cleaned the terminals up yet

Is it auto choke? If so just a couple of pumps on the accelerator to prime and set the choke then turn it over without touching the accelerator. If it doesn't catch jsut repeat the procedure. Should fire up! yeah its auto choke. its turning over really slowly as well but once its started for the da...

mine has just started doing the same. mine is a 2.0 laser. not long in having new plugs, leads, battery, electronic ignition and a service timing was also set as well.
