Re: Rear quarter windows

Mmmm they look pretty cool . I have a 2.4 X 1.2mΒ² sheet of 3mm thick fibreglass and the plan is to make a set of louvers for the rear screen,....might have to make some sideburns too. I had contact with the capri club about louvers and they told me they do make them but they were pretty crappy and ...

The ones on my S have been stuck on with Araldite
Lol I don't want to go that extreme haha. Just find it off CCI sell them but not with fixings! Wasn't sure if anyone else had encountered fitting them or alternatives.

Have you got a picture with them on?

Rear quarter windows

Me again!

I want to cover the rear quarter windows. I've seen some louvres with capri club but I can't see fittings anywhere. Has anyone used these or come up with an alternative for those that adopted that approach?

Thoughts?

Thanks

James

Re: Front seats

Hi All, Anyone know of any front seats that fit well in a Mk3 and are easy to fit without any or minor modifications to the runners? Original Recaro capri stuff is super expensive lol I'm guessing you don't want any of the standard capri seats then? I know they fit without any mods  Im looking...

I`m sure you could probably find something in B&Q that would work (cupboard latches?) - or maybe neodymium magnets off ebay could be glued to the edges of wood to hold it secure?
Ordered some magnets. Should do the job πŸ‘

Re: Bonnet Scoop/Vents

I think it depends how big you're thinking of going and how big it really needs to be? Seen a few people modify the bonnet bulge already on the car and put a vent in that which I thought was rather clever 13040584c3fb7aaba0.jpg I do like that, I wonder where they got the vents for the bulge or whet...

Re: Boot liner

The `proper` floor has clips at front and rear to hold it in place as well as a 1" wide layer of felt all around the perimeter, to stop the banging of wood on metal. If yours is just a piece of MDF or whatever (?) maybe put some self adhesive felt/foam around edge to stop banging? Its those clips y...

Re: Boot liner

Hi, I have a peice of wood and a boot mat that came with my car. By piece of wood, do you mean cheap piece of a sort of board? Wood is very generous. I guess it was wood once. Indeed I do. I can't find the clips that's are riveted to it anywhere and it doesn't seem to want to bend. I'm just wonderi...
