Fuel metering head rebuild advice

I have a fuel metering head. I've just bought the Salvox rebuild kit - has anyone used this kit or tried to rebuild the metering head?

Re: My worst nightmare...

Blush blush. I thank you - too kind. Yes I run Coops Insurance and own a beautiful 2.8 injection special. Thanks for recommending me. I can help with insurance on car/house/public liability and business insurance - but our passion is insurance for classic vehicles especially Ford Capris :D

Warm up regulator

Hi I'm replacing the warm up regulator on my Capri 2.8i special as the gas analyser say's it's running 4.5 on idle and lean when you really rev it. I've purchased a reconditioned unit from ATP Electronics (spoke to Steve - nice guy) Has anyone replaced one of these before. Is it easy? Any hints/tips...

Coops Insurance

I've now linked my profile to my emails at work, so if anyone PM's me it'll come up straight on my computer during working hours. So if you need me to look at any insurance (classic car, house, business, van, fleet ect, then i'd be happy to do so. See some of you at Santa Pod on the 30th/31st May. C...

Re: Modern car security LOL!

....Oh also...something important to remember. If you have said to your broker/insurer that your classic car is garaged overnight then this means that whenever you are at home then you must garage your car. If you are at home and chose to not garage the car one day/night for whatever reason then you...

Re: Modern car security LOL!

Make it as difficult as possible for a thief to take your car and I recommend fitting a tracking device. WWhhhaaaattt :o i hear you cry? Well, an old Ford is so easy to break into and drive away that if you really really value your car then fit a tracking device. That's what i'm doing. (hidden fuel ...

Re: Classic Car Insurance

:o We (Coops Insurance) www.facebook.com/CoopsInsurance have just insured another 'stunning' Capri. I first saw the car at the Ace Cafe and infact it's on the Ace Cafe video. I can't say which one it is just yet, but if you want to have a look at the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AwxpEaEDRQ ...

Re: Weichers Strut Brace doesnt fit

Ithankyou :D 347bhp can be achieved with all of the above, but you're more likely to find Elvis Presley shopping in Asda than come across a pair of up for sale swaymar heads for a cologne 2.8. Anyway.... Does anyone know the make/ model number of the standard capri 2.8 alternator? I've taken my brok...
