Get your own professionally repaired, they can be welded and then pressure tested for around 50 quid and theyre good as new.

Little plastic tray/container, put a layer of salt in it and set one in the boot and one in the cabin, will collect any moisture into the tray! Works a treat during winter.

Cut the rubber, I know they're expensive but you could end up needing a new screen if your old one cracks while trying to prise it out

Re: wanted: 2.8 inj fuel tank
nah mate the tank is now sold, a 2.8 sender is worth 50 quid on a bad day anyway, I bought it for that, so keeping it as a spare as they're like hens teeth.

Re: wanted: 2.8 inj fuel tank
That was my tank for 35 quid, as you say, it had a pinhole at the pump mount, hence the reason why I only got 30 quid for it. I bought it for the sender inside which thankfully was perfect.

good man, what's your plans for her?
you going to join the capri club ni?
get her up to kilbroney car show, or portrush, you'll get an idea of what you'd like in your own car too.

If i was you, i would get a good second hand engine, off the likes of martin etc, fit that and job done! However, somehow i don't think a replacement engine will do 50mpg!
