Afternoon all, I'm after a 6 pod upper fascia for my Mk3. Either cut for the new stereo size or not, either would be fine. Thanks, Owen

Goodmans GCE 207 Manual
Good morning,
Does anybody own or have a link to the user manual for the Goodman's GCE 207 Radio Cassette player? I've managed to repair the tape mechanism but am just guessing at how to use the rest of the radio.
TIA,
Owen

Re: Indicator/horn stork no longer working
Good morning, Ive almost finished with the electrics (for now) so am trying to cap all of my Q&A's. What i found when I delved deeper into the horn and indicator issue is that I wasn't getting 14v when the engine was running due to some dodgy alternator connections. I found this out after taking...

Re: Running battery voltage
Good morning, quick update. The issue has been resolved. The alternator was wired to the heated windscreen live instead of to the PCB. Once found and wired correctly (with help from another Q&A), I now get the 14v required at start and at idle. I have also fitted a decent second hand PCB. Just i...

Re: WANTED: Lower R/H Dash (bonnet release)
Hi Martin sorry for the delayed response, I got a bit side tracked by the instrument panel and dash rebuild.
The car is 1983 mk3 1.6ls. I don’t think it needs the speaker fader.

No worries and thanks for your help Steve, I'd like to say I'm nearly there but there will always be something!

WANTED: Lower R/H Dash (bonnet release)
Hi,
Of all my dash parts the right hand one where the bonnet release goes is in pretty bad order.

Re: Permanent Live at Instrument Panel Issue
Issue Resolved (I'm not sure how to edit the topics heading).
I had a wire going from the alternator through the bung and it was attached to the heated screen relay's power cable which in turn was attached to the wire from fuse 7!
I had fun finding all of that, now onto the next gremlin!

Hello mate,
This is the diagram I’ve been working from. I currently have my whole dash and instrument panel out so let me know if you need a wire tracing!

Hi, update to my alternator connections; I bought one of the plugs off eBay and it fitted fine. I now have a fully functioning alternator so thanks for the pointers.

Re: Fuse Box question
Quick update, I wasn't keen on drilling out the rivets so i thought i'd put a blob of solder between the tabs and the fuse holder. The solder didn't want to take so for now I have added a wire from the fuse holder (through the hole below where the fuse sits) and connected the accessory to the wire. ...

Fuse Box question
Happy Bank Holiday!
I am cleaning up my fuse holder and have found that I only have continuity between the fuse holder and tab at fuse 3, 4 & 6. Is this right or do I need to strip it further?
TIA
Owen

Permanent Live at Instrument Panel Issue
Good afternoon! As an update on my last three topics; I have repaired/replaced quite a lot of the wiring around the engine bay, instrument panel and alternator. I’ve repaired (I think) the PCB and put it partially back together to test. Everything is working on the instrument panel now, except the p...
