Nice mix of cars! Do love the Escort Mk2 Sport!, probably rarer than most of the "sporty" escorts and in many ways the proper Mk2 Mexico?

Re: Not so new
Well its been a bit slow during lockdown but now have rad and pipework in and all seems to fit pretty well.
Will probably remove the standard inlet nextand have a measure up for the new carbs and inlet manifold. Once I am happy that all fits it willl be time to sort the electrics / omex

Re: Not so new
Cheers - the engine is obviously sat in the car and the gearbox and prop now in place and all seems to fit nicely. May need a bit of tweeting but overall happy with how it sits. Being such a short engine it could almost be seen as "mid engined" .
Hope to get the pipework in next weekend.

Not so new
Hi, not posted on here for ages although I often visit to see whats going on. I thought i should post something as I have started to do a few things to the red one over the last few months, it has been sat in the garage for the last 20+ years! I was slightly concerned what state it would be in but o...

Re: Capri Driver from France
Thanks for the explanations. "Wheeler Dearlers" is one of my favorite TV shows, I like both in French version and in English, but mostly you learn a lot in mechanics. I live in the west of France, Nantes, to join England it is easier by the sea from Caen to Portsmouth, on the other hand, ...

Re: Trip to Spa and the Nurburgring
Cheers, The GT3 is an awesome car and although I have never been a Porsche fan, I can appreciate them. It is probably the first car that had brakes that really impressed me and made for a really confident drive. https://image.ibb.co/kqJs8d/Spa_007.jpg Maybe the first time I have been in a Porsche an...

Re: Goblin Works Garage
To be honest I get that everyone has different taste etc. but still think this show has proved to be a bit disappointing, just don't think the finished products are as good as they should be and think they are trying too fard to be cool.
But each to their own.

Re: X Frame Location Kit / Timken axle
76 Capri.
The profile of the diff / axle housing is different and therefore suspect the axle brackets would not be so tight / close to the diff.

Even as an owner I get excited when I see one on the roads these days. Just spotted what looked like a nice Mk3 at a garage on the A41 (metalic blue/grey)

Re: Ken Block's Mk2 Escort
No problem Andrew.
I have given him plenty of grief over the years about the Volvo but to be honest I think its cool that he is competing against some high spec cars with big budgets in something out of the ordinary.

I will try & sort some, to be fair it has been running a V8 for the last 2 seasons but had a clio/Williams engine before that.
