Don't quote me, but I'm fairly certain the 3 litre one was only 22mm rather than the 24mm of the 2.8i. Chav should be able to tell you for sure. Also, don't forget that the Mk2s had a different shaped bar, though they are interchangeable if you use the matching mounting brackets. I now have a 1&quo...

that looks interesting/AWESOME! Any chance you could write up what you've done? Planning a zetec conversion with mine and i want to look into all the options, bike carbs, standard onjecting or like you turbo. What management are you using? can wait to see this one finished, it should be pretty brisk!

I've got the radiator off now and taken it too a local place that specialise in re-cores, there going to give me a price in the morning, if its more than the ebay prices then an ebay one shall be purchased. Currently the trigger wheel is just held on by the bolt which has been locktighted and dogged...

It was an oil catch tank yeah but it now gone as i made a proper tank to replace it

Yup your right, need to find prices for a re-core should have that sorted by next week....amazingly it still cools well :shock:

Hi all, I'm doing a head gasket on a mates Kia picanto tomorrow (classic case of wate mixing with oil and down on power) I was wondering if anybody knows the torque settings for the head bolts on a 2004 1.1l picanto? I'm struggling to find the answers on the net

I got mine from autosport labs in America, there website is really healpful to as it goes through everything you need to do to get it up and running on your car. Got to agree i soldered up my megajolt last night, easy as pie, and only cost 90 quid from the states ;) all in the job has cost me about 140 and i should hopefully have it all fitted by the weekend
