Re: skyline engined capri

hey! modifying a capri isnt destroying it Its improving it im on yanks side with this one, how boring would the scene be if everyone kept their cars standard, shows'd be a f*cking yawn fest! each to his own and all that but it bums me out when people complain about modified classics. whats wrong wi...

Re: using paint stripper on a project questions..

I stripped my entire shell using a wire wheel on a grinder, it took over 30 hours and was a bastard from start to finish. if you can find an easier way of removing paint ide use it ive never used real paint stripper but i had some success with painting brake fluid onto my land rover afew years back....

Re: quick help please

its just a flashy way of getting your carb sucking nice cold air instead of the warm stuff under the bonnet.

cold air induction has marginal benefits but you probably wont notice the difference unless you wana drive everywhere at 150mph

pretty cool though :kungfu:

Re: update on my Capri Regeneration

3's the best it looks to me like a mk1 mixed with a mercedes 300SL http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll53/mcmahonmorgan/mercedes-300sl-gullwing-4.jpg i dont know much about design but my two cents would be, dont lose the line down the side or the bonnets bulge, they define the mk1. good luck :D

Re: why did the clutch stick???

clutches left for awhile will stick easy enough, try turning it over in first for a second to destick the clutch. itl jump forward obviously so clear a space so u dont wreck anything expensive if that doesnt work, jack up the rear end and start it in first, that should do it if all of those fail, th...
