Re: Laser 1600

Had a couple of goes at this to get the wing off, no big issues just lack of time due to prepping a new garage door and work. I managed to drill out all the spot welds along the wing rail and A post by using a 7mm socket on a 1/4" extension to extend the length of the spot weld cutter. Not loo...

Re: Factory 2.0 pinto cam cover wanted

Hi Danny Hope you're well. Thanks for your reply and offer. Ideally, I want the correct lip/edge type one that should be on mine. I'll bear yours in mind though and let you know. I can't believe how rare they seem to be! Cheers. No worries, I know - it almost seems that they were an optional choice...

Re: Factory 2.0 pinto cam cover wanted

Thanks Mk3 Mags. Really appreciate but it's not the right one unfortunately as it's missing the 2 airbox screw bracket holes.

Factory 2.0 pinto cam cover wanted

Hi all, does anyone have a standard Ford cam cover, for a 1986 2.0 laser? I want to correctly reinstate the original airbox and support brackets/screws. To do this, I need the correct cover that has the 2 necessary holes on the side (like the one in the photo below). https://i.postimg.cc/KKbyxGPN/Sc...

Re: Fixings for standard 2.0 pinto air filter housing

Just in case anyone does have 4 of these (for 2.0 air filter housing bracket/supports) Size = 10ml head x approx 2cm in length. Obviously, I'm willing to pay and for P&P.

Have tried Martin, CCI, Colin etc.

Thanks.

Fixings for standard 2.0 pinto air filter housing

Hi All Does anyone know where I can get or even have, the 4 x 10ml head size screws that secure the 2 support brackets, to the factory 2.0 pinto air filter housing to rocker cover? (Martin has found me the 2 brackets). Also, are there specific plastic female connections that the screws go into? (On ...

Re: Haynes Breakfast Club Meets 2020

Personally I would have liked pre and post 1990. [/quote] Thanks for info Andy. Agree with pre/post 1990 and yes maybe I'm a bit biased. Then again, they do have to draw a line somewhere I guess. Not sure what shows/meets I can make at present. For me, Haynes was a mixed bag (fellow Capri's and pals...

Re: 50 Years of the Capri - Historic Brooklands Circuit & Museum - 8th September 2019

Spotted a new you tube video of Brooklands this year I only spotted Nigel in his laser driving around , and nick playing kiss chase with my dad . more to do with the green Good spot Jason. As Andy said, looking for a space after we only just convinced the Marshall's to let us through! ...
