Why not take the car over anyway, the Isle of Wight is a lovely place to just explore.

Re: Isle of Wight weekend 2019

Thanks for uploading the photos; your Capri looks fantastic. Great to see some other classic Ford's too.
Although you say the classics were in a minority, I would have thought for that reason, they all attracted a lot of interest (rightly so too and especially your Capri).

Glad it's all gone back in OK. Looks smart and ideal for helping protect the dash underneath.

I heard a few years ago that hand creams can cause excess wear on steering wheels. Cars driven alot by women suffer more.

Nige, you got anything you want to tell us

Re: Killerton House Classic Car Show.

Brilliant job on the dash mat, thought it was a cool dash one until I read the post. I've had the steering wheel dye for a year, just havnt got around to it. The result you've got looks excellent, hoping to do mine over the winter, said that last year as well though  Nice socks too Nige :D [/qu...

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the great photos.
Some very nice examples there (great to see the GT4 and Cabaret 2 models).
That Mark 3 Cortina is nice too.
Hope you had a good holiday too.

Re: CCI Nationals 2019

Wow. Just been looking through your cracking photos Andrew.

As already said, what a superb collection of Capri's. Love the fact that there seemed to be a good blend of all the Mark's too.

Echo Andy; will definitely have to make the trip up one year.

Re: Killerton House Classic Car Show.

Sunday was also the first outing for my new home made dash top cover/mat. Thanks again to Andy's wife for sewing on the biased binding????? for me (not really up on sewing tech speak). I bought some grey vinyl and dark grey binding from a local independent fabric shop. Used my old dash as a template...

Re: Killerton House Classic Car Show.

Thanks for uploading the additional photos Nige. The standard of cars looks to be really high, and that's an indication of a great show. I like the mark 1 Escort estate, it's good to see regular models of cars being maintained to a high standard as those tend to be much more scarce than the more gl...

Nice looking car, I clicked on the picture & had an advert to meet 'A lonely Asian lady in Altrincham' . I've also seen her ad to meet in Bristol on Postimage. She gets about :D

Indeed Rob.

Re: Killerton House Classic Car Show.

I clicked on the picture & had an advert to meet 'A lonely Asian lady in Altrincham' . Things are looking up me as I don't seem to get the ads for hair transplants anymore, but instead I get adverts for the usual lonely Asian ladies and also for dental implants. Why can't they combine adverts and l...
