Re: 24v boa questions
MT75s have the option of running a mechanical speedo and you might be able to order the parts for it new from ford but I never did the research so I cant tell you any more. I butchered the granny speedo to fit in the capri dash as a temporary solution and its remained that way since. It wasn't easy ...

Re: Pinto EFI Wiring
Easy! Ground the wire to pin30 to permanently trick the ECU into thinking its in park/neutral.

Re: 2.9 Twin turbo project - Making manifolds
Thanks guys. No progress on the rest of the car, works ground to a halt again because I need to spend more time on college assignments. Here's a little more on the manifolds though... The method for marking out for cutting pipes at angles. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k123/ovide88/IMAG0226.jpg ...

2.9 Twin turbo project - Making manifolds
This is a long term project of mine, well actually it was just an expensive collection of parts until now but I've been doing the R&D for years. Things are starting to happen now that I'm making the turbo manifolds for my college engineering project and get to use the college machine shop for it...

Nice wheels. I got a thing for Compo MLs.
They do make them with deeper dish. They come in 7, 8 or 9inch wide. David85 has them.....

It happens, and you'll learn from it. The next time it happens it will be because you are deliberately trying to step the back out sideways on a roundabout. Yeah, I do that

Cool see you there then.
I think Major Tom needs to come and get 1/4 mile times for his beast of a capri. If you're reading this M.Tom, get involved!

Re: capri lsd,s
Considering the price of a second hand atlas 2.8 LSD these days or brand new LSD unit plus cost of fitting it would be a better long term investment to get a much stronger ford 8.8 axle from an explorer or mustang. Plenty of cheapish aftermarket cw&pinion sets and LSD units available from USA fo...

Thanks for the compliments. The new deadline is July for CRAP. I missed that deadline last year, and the year before that, but I will try. :xd: The strut tower wasn't satisfactory. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k123/ovide88/DSCI1565.jpg Square section was cut out and fresh 2mm plate welded in: h...

That is some major A-pillar rust! Don't buy it, that's going to end up being a full on restoration project as soon as you take the wings off and discover all kinds of horrors.

Re: 16 x 6.5J, ET40 - Will they fit?
They will need 25mm spacers and then just be careful with tyre selection to clear the front struts. Its not ideal. Wheels intended for front wheel drive cars with high offset and no dish look a bit weedy on capris in my opinion.16 x 6.5J, ET40
